Historical Prayers and Proclamations, Part 2
Scripture Declarations
“I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” — Ezekiel 22:30
“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” — Psalm 91:4
Daily Prayer Proclamation
Lord Almighty, You are our refuge, our high tower, and our strong deliverer. Today we stand in the gap on behalf of our sons, our daughters, and our communities.
We thank You that no weapon formed against Your church shall prosper. We ask for Your angels to surround our households, guarding us against the schemes of the enemy. Let Your holy fire ignite our spirits once again.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
